Custom Brand Design

Projects are quoted on an individual basis according to what you select on your proposal, but a base price is listed below.

Base price: $2,500 CAD

(aprox $1,824 USD)

+ add-ons and applicable taxes.

Base Brand Design Package Includes:

  • All brand design projects start with The Brand Building Workshop, which you will move through independently before your project start date. This workshop includes pre-recorded information and coaching, guided meditations, and clarity questions to support you in conducting inner research, finding clarity, and providing the information that we need to have in order to design your brand.

    Access to The Brand Building Workshop is granted as soon as the project deposit payment is made, and the brand clarity questionnaire must be completed before your project start date.

  • A private digital project management board (Trello) is included to serve as our project hub where we will share and store files, correspond and leave notes, share information, and post 'to-do' lists and updates to keep your project organized and enable clear communication.

    You will have continued access to this board after your project is complete for easy access to all of your brand materials.

  • Brand design projects start with a brand strategy video call meeting (aprox 90 minutes) so that we can review your brand clarity questionnaire and ask/anwser additional questions in order to make decisions about your brand structure, how personal you want your brand to be, what parts of your brand history will be brought into the future (if applicable), and who your ideal customer/client is.This session is also used to gather the information that is needed to establish the energetic core of your brand, design your sensory brand assets, and formulate your brand communication plan.

  • Sensory Brand Assets are the specific visible, audible, tactile, or otherwise tangible elements of a brand that people can experience with their five senses.

    The following brand assets make up the energetic core of your brand and are decided on during your brand strategy session:

    • Brand Voice

    • General Creative Direction (overall plan for the look & feel of the brand)

    • Textures

    • Sounds

    • Scents

    • Flavours

    • Graphics Creative Direction

    • Photo/Artwork/Video Creative Direction

    The following brand assets will be designed after your brand strategy session and include 3 rounds of revisions/edits, with the third round of edits finalizing the design:

    • Colour Palette

    • Typography

    • Logo (brand symbol/brandmark and/or brand name/wordmark with two colour variations and files for digital and print use).

    A summary of all your brand assets with guidance on how to use them will be included in your brand guidebook.

  • Once the branding strategy and design components of your brand design project are complete, everything that was decided on and designed (alon gwith notes on how to use/impliment each element) gets packaged up into a brand guidebook.

    This digital brand guidebook document is something that you can refer to whenever you have business or branding decisions to make in order to stay consistently “on brand” and mitigate decision fatigue, and it can also be shared with employees, stakeholders, collaborators, or anyone who should have an understanding of your brand.

    Your brand guidebook will include:

    • Branding strategy notes outlining decisions made about brand structure, brand personalization, and brand history & legacy.

    • Ideal customer/client description.

    • Energetic brand core elements (values, ethics, philosophy, vision, mission, goals, energy, and personality).

    • Sensory brand asset elements & implementation guidance (brand voice, colour palette, general creative direction, typography, logo, images & video creative direction, graphics creative direction, sounds, scents, flavours, textures).

    • Brand communication plan (with notes on brand messages & conversation, communication channels, brand touchpoints, and brand collateral).

Example Add-ons:

Base packages are designed so that you're not paying for more than you need, but you can add to your project when you are making your project proposal selections.

Examples of brand design add-ons are:

  • Photo shoot creative direction & planning

  • Social media branding package

  • Social media post/story graphic templates

  • Business card design

  • Podcast cover design

Timeline:

Custom brand design projects take approximately 2-4 weeks from project start date (more or less depending on the scale and scope of the project).

Please note that a completed brand building workbook (included in The Brand Building Workshop) as well as any other relevant content and materials will be needed from you before your brand design start date.

Base price: $4,000 CAD

(approx $2,918 USD)

+ add-ons and applicable taxes.

Base Website Design Package Includes:

  • Website design projects begins with a website video call meeting (aprox 90 minutes) so that we can review your business and website needs, ask additional questions to get to know you and your business on a deeper level, give you an opportunity to ask questions, and decide on an overall creative direction and functionality plan for your website.

    Note: If you are also working with The Tenth House for brand design, this strategy session may be combined with your brand strategy session on a longer call.

    Using the information that you provide in your brand guide document as well as information that comes up during your website strategy session, your designer (Steph) will then solidify your website design strategy, including a site map and general structure of the site.

    • Installation of website platform and hosting (Squarespace will be used unless otherwise agreed upon. Client pays the yearly fee for website account and hosting).

    • Transfer and/or set up of a website domain (ie: www.example.com) (client pays the yearly fee for domain registration).

    • Installation of all necessary plugins and/or third-party extensions/integrations (client pays any associated fees to the third-party). 

    • Website design & development of 4 main pages (home, about, offerings, contact)

    • Design & development of simple terms & privacy page, 404 page, and a simple Instagram link in bio page (if wanted).

    • Design & integration of terms & privacy documents (client can supply the documents or pay the yearly fee to use Iubenda) + privacy & cookie policy and privacy settings notification pop-up.

    • Integration of a mailing list sign-up form (client pays for Squarespace email service add-on or a third party email service provider if required).

    • Fully responsive/custom mobile version.

    • 3 Rounds of edits/changes per page (third round of edits finalizes the design).

    • Additional pages and functions are available as add-ons.

  • Videos demonstrating how to log into the website dashboard & how to make basic updates or edits to your website content (photos, video, text, and links) using the website design tool will be saved on your Trello digital project management board so that you can independently update and your website after design is complete.

  • A private digital project management board (Trello) is included to serve as our project hub where we will share and store files, correspond and leave notes, share information, and post 'to-do' lists and updates to keep your project organized and enable clear communication.

    You will have continued access to this board after your project is complete for easy access to account login info, website demo videos and another other information/files.

Example Add-ons:

Base packages are designed so that you're not paying for more than you need, but you can add to your project when you are making your project proposal selections.

  • Additional pages

  • Online shop

  • Blog

  • Portfolio

  • Podcast blog

  • Email templates & sequences

Additional Info:

  • Before we can begin designing your website, we need to have some basic branding elements to work with, so a thorough brand guide document including information about brand values, goals, energy, and personality + basic brand assets (logo, colour palette, typography) must be submitted and approved before a website design project can be scheduled.

  • If your brand is already established, you can fill in the brand guidebook template that will be provided, or you can submit a brand guidebook from another designer and we can use that, providing it has all the information that we need. Branding must be approved by Steph before the project start date.

  • If you are working with The Tenth House to deign your brand, you will receive everything that we need for your website design.

  • If you are designing your own brand, The Brand Building Workshop is available to walk you through The Tenth House method of brand design, and includes a brand guidebook template which the workshop will help you complete.

Timeline:

Custom Website Design projects take approximately 4-6 weeks on average from project start date (more or less depending on the scale and scope of the project).

Please note that the following must be submitted before your website design start date:

  • Brand guide document + visual brand assets (colour palette, type suite, logos, graphic elements, etc).

  • Professional quality photos/images (and video if including).

  • Copy/written content for all website pages, including terms & conditions + any legal documents/disclaimers/policies.
